Green Brain instantly accelerates CropX’s presence in the highly valuable Australian precision agriculture market. CropX’s presence in Australia has been growing, but adding Green Brain’s established customer and dealer relationships enables CropX to leap ahead by several years.
The recurring droughts, the high cost of irrigation water in Australia, and the prominence of high-value crops make the continent a natural fit for precision agriculture technologies such as Green Brain and CropX. Green Brain has a strong presence in high value, permanent crops such as grape, avocado, and almond that can benefit from the agronomic data and insights offered by the CropX agronomic farm management system.
Green Brain provides customized irrigation management packages that connect third-party soil sensors and rain gauges to telemetry devices that link to an irrigation advice app. CropX will provide a seamless experience for customers, supporting existing services while expanding their options by offering CropX hardware and software, including soil sensors, telemetry, rain gauges, and the CropX agronomic farm management system. We will continue to build on the trusted brand of Green Brain.
The Green Brain team includes experienced executives, hardware technicians, sales reps, customer support, and software developers who will contribute their talents and expertise as they are integrated into the existing CropX Australia team. Green Brain will become CropX Australia, with an office in Adelaide that will be the logistic hub for CropX inventory and maintenance.
