The SCIO Cup brings near-infrared (NIR) analysis directly to the field. Analyze grains, seeds, feed, forage, powders, and other materials in seconds — with a portable solution designed for fast, confident decision-making.
The Cup is compatible to scan:
BERRIES
ALL GRAINS
FEED & FORAGE
Get analysis results in as little as 7 seconds.
Get consistent material insights to support everyday decisions.
Analyze up to 1.4 liters per scan for better representation of non-homogeneous materials.
Take material analysis from the lab to the field, production line, or wherever it is needed.
No complex setup or warm-up. Fill the cup, scan, and get results.
Connect by smartphone and Bluetooth, with online and offline scanning capabilities.
The SCIO Cup uses miniaturized NIR spectroscopy to analyze material composition quickly and reliably. Its patented optical technology delivers high sensitivity in a compact, portable device.
Instead of collecting samples and waiting for laboratory results, teams can analyze materials directly where they work. More measurements can be taken, more often, giving teams the information they need to make faster decisions.
Agricultural materials are rarely perfectly uniform. The SCIO Cup is designed to analyze larger samples of small, non-homogeneous materials, including grains, seeds, feed, forage, and powders.
With a capacity of up to 1.4 liters per scan, users can analyze a more representative sample while maintaining a simple workflow. Fill the cup, start the scan, and receive results in seconds.
SCIO Cup connects material measurements with digital workflows, making results available across teams and locations.
Measurements can be synced in real time or in batches. When connectivity is unavailable, data is stored and synchronized once a connection becomes available.
This gives growers, agronomists, processors, and other agricultural teams faster access to material data — wherever the analysis takes place.
Miniaturized NIR Technology
At the core of the SCIO Cup is a patented near-infrared spectrometer with an optical head just a few millimeters in size. Its miniaturized design delivers sensitive, accurate NIR measurements in a compact device built for use beyond the lab.
With zero warm-up time and low power consumption, SCIO Cup can perform hundreds of scans on a small rechargeable battery. Combined with cloud-based analytical models, it turns spectral measurements into actionable material insights — making NIR analysis practical for everyday agricultural operations.
