Sales and Business Development Manager, NZ

CropX Technologies, an exciting well-funded start-up (80 employees globally), is looking for a passionate and highly motivated Sales and Business Development Manager to join our awesome team in New Zealand.

The main office is in Wellington, New Zealand.

This role is based in the South Island, preferably in Christchurch.

Reporting to Managing Director of CropX Limited who is based in the Wellington office.

Responsibilities
  • Generate business plans to deliver to the growth expectations for NZ.
  • Establish long-term business relationships and presence within the marketplace.
  • Build a significant sales pipeline and contribute to the company’s revenue growth.
  • Manage day-to-day relationships with partners primarily including distributors, key customers other commercial relationships. From time to time legal, financial and marketing aspects.
  • Advance and establish new opportunities with existing relationships and define revenue opportunities.
  • Lead internal interfaces and operations in order to deliver upon customer requirements
Requirements
  • 5+ years of sales and/or business development experience in new markets
  • Must have experience in the Ag Industry and have wide networks
  • Great negotiation skills
  • Excellent business judgment, creative problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent project management, communications, presentation, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Able to use own initiative and to work independently
